| What are your colleague’s greatest strengths? | The irony: even when things aren’t going well, he always manages to make you smile. And then there’s his thoughtfulness: he never makes decisions on his own, but we always work as a team… (he even brings me lunch every now and then! 😊) | Helpfulness, kindness and honesty. Even the breaks are shared and enjoyable. |
| What have you learnt from the way he works? | To improve my organisation and stay calm when difficulties arise. Since I’ve been working with him, my anxiety has been a thing of the past! 😊 | To smile more and be kinder… but she’s learnt a lot from me too! 😊 |
| What are the benefits of working in a mixed-gender environment rather than one that is exclusively male or female? | I think that these days, after so much discrimination, a mixed environment is the right thing and healthy. It offers more opportunities for growth and exchange… (even if sometimes we’d like to bash each other’s heads in!! 😊) | There is better collaboration and understanding. The approach to work is different, and seeing the female perspective is enriching. |
