Flavia Modica new Workers’ Representative

Election for Health and Safety and for Unitary Trade Union Representation

Flavia Modica is the new Workers’ Representative for Health and Safety at Euro Stampaggi; at the same time, she was also elected as Unitary Trade Union Representative. Two important appointments that reward Flavia’s commitment within the workplace and her positive relationship with colleagues in the various departments over more than ten years. She arrived in the Stamping Department in 2012 and worked in production before moving to the Quality Control area. In the meantime, she completed her law studies and after graduating in Law, she moved to the Legal Department to work alongside lawyer Cesare Pucci, one of the external professionals who supervises our company.
She explains her decision to run for office as follows: ‘Although Euro Stampaggi is a big family and no problems arise in relations between workers and employers, it is necessary for each person to be aware that every duty also corresponds to a right and that everyone must be committed to maintaining a high level of attention to health, safety, and well-being. Our editorial staff wishes Flavia and the other two colleagues elected to the RSU Council (Antonio Voto and Enrico Magherini) all the best in their work.

The relationship of mutual esteem is strengthened

Euro Stampaggi hosted the Commander of the Badia a Settimo Carabinieri Station, Marshal Antonio Laera, with some of his staff. An appointment that has been repeated for many years, confirming the relationship of mutual esteem between our industrial group and the local Carabinieri station and, in particular, the people who represent it. The discussion, which focused on security issues, was also interesting and prolific.

The passing of Ing. Paolo Mariottoni

Giuliano Simonelli remembers the friend and professional

A tragic accident at work last April killed engineer Paolo Mariottoni (55), a leading expert in glass architecture. He had come into contact with Euro Stampaggi during a research project on Mim Technology, a subject on which he had done his university thesis. To his wife Federica, his two children and his brother Enrico, we send the condolences of the many who had known and appreciated him for his human and professional qualities at Euro Stampaggi. Here is a personal memory of Giuliano Simonelli:

“Paolo was truly an extraordinary person with a unique sympathy, always cheerful and helpful towards others. What I remember most of all about him is his ability to work while having fun; we were united by the same passion for life and an immense desire to do. Then, I was always struck, and almost embarrassed, by the admiration he reserved for our company and our ‘family’. A sentiment that I reciprocated and that Paolo fully deserved together with the esteem for his great professionalism’.
