Towards the new Workshop/4.

The views of our colleagues at Pa.Co. Stampi: Stefano Bandinelli.

Stefano joined Pa.Co. Stampi in 2004, fresh from graduating as a technical engineer at the ITIS Meucci in Florence. “I learnt everything here,” he says, “including the professional use of computers and CAD/CAM. “Over the past twenty years, I’ve come to understand the importance of the values found in a small artisan business; I’ve had no shortage of career offers from other industrial companies, but here I’ve learnt a trade and I’m very happy here.”

When asked for his views on the proposed merger of Euro Stampaggi’s in-house workshop with Pa.Co. Stampi, he replied: “I have faith in the Euro Stampaggi family and I am certain that things will take a turn for the better. If anything, there may be some concerns about managing such a large department, but I know all the other colleagues we’ll be joining forces with and I consider them all to be capable young people. I see a great desire to grow in my younger colleagues, so this is an inevitable step; there isn’t enough space here to implement such a drastic shift towards automation and the modernisation of the entire work process.”
